Home Trivium Parents

Welcome to the Community

Hello everyone,

I am updating some things on the website and it has provided this mini group option so that we can chat and share ideas as a community.

This has always struck me as potentially very useful: as parents, you are all approaching the same Home Trivium materials in your own way, overcoming similar obstacles, and encountering similar challenges.

Whilst I can offer support to each and every one of you, this public group gives us the added option of allowing you to share your own thoughts, questions, and ideas with each other. That way, parents can feel more connected and mutually supported, whilst I can publish advice and guidance which can be seen by all of you.

And so, by all means write on here as much as you please. I will give it my regular attention and response. Also, I will look at making this into an…

Big Addition: The Council of Challengers

Hello everyone,

You may have already received emails about our big, new addition to Home Trivium this year: The Council of Challengers.

This is an entirely new module for the Home Trivium programme, which provides open-ended exercises at multiple levels (from the basics all the way up to university level), so that students can practice their rational-linguistic skills.

I am excited to see what the students can produce, and I hope it is of good use to all of you.

All paying subscribers should have already received the full digital copy of The Council of Challengers by email.

Hard copies of Veritellum?

Hi all, I just thought of something that I really should have mentioned yesterday. Would it be possible to order hard copies of Veritellum or indeed any of the Trivium resource guides? I just find having paper in front of us is much better all round, rather than a pesky iPad on the table! Happy to pay extra, how do other mums feel? Was great to chat to you both last night, lovely to meet you Sarah, I really enjoyed hearing how both of you are dealing with the challenges you're facing.

We are always happy to offer the physical option, but we need to approach this on a per-case basis. There are multiple options for printing, including varying levels of quality at different price-points; we also endeavor to work with your local printer to save delivery fees (which is very important as we work internationally).

As an idea, a high-quality print of the A4 materials may cost £15 per 10 double-sided sheets (depending on the printer). The Path of Veritellum is 25 double-sided sheets. These high-quality prints would be durable and printed on card. Paper-prints would be cheaper but less durable...

For these reasons, for those parents who want physical materials, I invite you to speak to me personally for options.
